Because I've got you to look after me, and you've got me to look after you

It's hot. Unbearably hot. The kind of hot that makes people lazy and tends to induce a headache & make you feel like you've just woken up. I totally agree with Vic [[Paranoid Android]] - I want Winter! There is nothing better than curling up on the sofa with a fluffy bathrobe (mine is pink), PJ's, a book/DVD and a cup of steaming hot chocolate (or Coffee). I also miss certain items of clothing from my winter wardrobe, not to mention the fact that it's tough going out during the day due to extreme heat. I miss my vast collection of fluffy, hand-made scarves [yes, I know how to knit. And Crochet. And Cross Stitch. And Tapestry. Yay Mummy]. I'm longing for the time I can wear my hoodies *sigh*, shop for awesome skinny jeans (and wear them) and also get lost in the squishy-softness of my 2 favourite winter jackets...ahh..I miss it quite terribly.

Well I'm writing this blog to mark that on the 11th of August, my boyfriend took me out to eat for our 6month-a-versary. It was nice; a thoughtful thing to do. After dinner we walked along the seafront and he presented me with quite possibly the most adoreable "me to you" soft toy ever - a bunny named blossom. Shes lovely. Attatched to said bunny was a note in the shape of a heart (cute) and a book *squeal of delight*. The way to a woman's heart is through her... book obsession? He gave me The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho (I love Paulo); adding to my modestly-sized book collection (photos will be added at the end). Concluding the 6 month-a-versary paragraph; it was a wonderful evening, & I have an uber-sweet boyfriend who is not ashamed of visiting every Agenda bookshop in Malta in order to buy me the book. Oh how I love him :]

Well, regarding my increasingly passionate love affair with books - my book collection continues to grow. I finished reading Chosen from the HoN series in one day, started Untamed the next day and now even THAT book is finished. I bought the 6th book in the series, "Hunted", and I could probably finish it by today IF I didn't have maths work to do. I'm interested in buying some books by Charles Darwin, just out of curiosity. I checked out Agenda & I found the Origin of Species & a biography. Don't want the Biography. Hmm, what else...
I have no idea what books I'm going to read after Hunted. I could start "The Winner Stands Alone" by Paulo Coelho, or "Pride and Prejudice" / "Persuasion" by Jane Austen... well I DO have a personal library of books to choose from, so I will not be short of reading material. If all else fails, those Maths books look pretty appealing. NOT. Soooo Not.

I sincerely hope my best friend's dog gets well soon :\ I do love that puppy (I say puppy because Pedro forgets that he's huge and can squish us all while trying to be all cute and puppy like <3>

I really, really, really can't stand some old people. Honestly. I was waiting for my dad to pick me up for maths lessons, when this aged person proceeded to cross the road. He caught sight of me (dressed very averagely in average jeans in an average purple top - Mathematics is not a fashion contest), and he stopped smack-dab in the middle of a road to wink at me. Ew. Just, Ew. I gave him this very "Oh my goodness you are so disgusting and gross and if you keep looking at me I'm gonna slap you into another nationality" look, and he hobbled along like the frail old git that he is. Eugh. Why is there such a total lack of respect towards women? What gives you (man) the right to whistle, wink, stare or hit on me? while I'm minding my own business dressed in very normal, non-sexy clothes. It sickens me.

Well, I'm off because the call of Mathematics is strong and clear.

Signing out with pics of my books below because i love them

Hot Chocolate-y regards
